Exactly. And to add to that, it's a journey right? Just because we have desires or dreams for our future, doesn't mean we need to negate that which is going well now. Just because we are focused on being present in the now, doesn't mean we cannot work towards something we aspire to in the future. Progress versus product, not in the prefectionist way of saying it, but in the sense that by focusing on the path we're on and not getting mired down by "future tripping," a phrase coined by Marie Foreleo, we can be here now, doing our best, as you say, to bring our best selves... sorry for the runon sentence.
