Authenticity isn’t what we think it is

A lack of authenticity isn’t the same as a lack of self control. Mistaking the former for the latter is why we’re struggling to get along.

It’s worth our time and effort to think deeply before we speak (or write). Reflection isn’t a lack of honesty or integrity.

It’s evidence that we care.
